Hand-woven hemp rope shaped into an open dome. Switched on, it throws soft, dappled light across the walls and ceiling, like sunshine through a straw hat.
- Each shade is woven by hand, so the texture is natural and no two are quite the same
- 30cm across: the right size for a bedroom, reading corner or breakfast table, or hung in twos and threes over a dining table
- Three natural tones, Natural, Ecru and Brown, to suit Japandi, coastal and cottage interiors
Will it suit my room? It works well in rooms with ceilings of 2.4m or more, or hung over a table or bed in lower rooms. Hang it about 75cm above a dining table, and keep the bottom of the shade at least 2.1m above the floor where people walk underneath.

Ceiling and wall lights are hard-wired and must be fitted by a qualified electrician. Lamps and plug-in lights come with a UK 3-pin plug, so there's nothing to wire. Check the bulb fitting and recommended bulb in the specifications above, and use LED bulbs for the coolest, most efficient light.
