1. Who we are
cosylights.co.uk is operated by STMEDIA LLC, a company registered in the United States at 4405 Jager Dr NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144, United States, trading as "Cosy Lights" ("we", "us"). You can reach us through our contact page.
2. These terms
These terms apply to all orders placed on cosylights.co.uk by customers in the United Kingdom. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
3. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we cannot supply a product, for example because it is unavailable, we will tell you and refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and are the full price you pay. Delivery to UK addresses is free, and there are no customs or import charges for UK customers. Payment is taken when you place your order.
5. Delivery
We process orders within 1 to 2 working days and aim to deliver within a further 6 to 10 working days, and in any case within 30 days unless we agree otherwise with you. Products are dispatched from our suppliers overseas. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. See our Delivery page.
6. Your right to cancel and returns
You may cancel your order and return products for any reason within 30 days of delivery. This is longer than the 14 days required by law. When you start a return we email you the returns address and a free prepaid label, and we refund you within 14 days of receiving the product back. We may reduce your refund if the product has been handled more than necessary to inspect it, or has been installed or altered. See our Returns page.
7. Faulty products
Our products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a product is faulty or damaged on arrival, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it in line with your legal rights, at no cost to you.
8. Electrical safety
Hardwired lighting should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with UK wiring regulations. Please follow the instructions supplied. Do not use indoor products outdoors or in bathroom zones they are not rated for.
9. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
10. Privacy
We use your personal information only as described in our Privacy policy.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
