Delivery and orders
How long does delivery take?
We process your order in 1 to 2 working days, then delivery takes 6 to 10 working days. Tracking is free on every UK order and we email your tracking link as soon as it ships. Orders placed before 5pm UK time on a working day start processing the same day.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
No. The price you pay at checkout is the full price, so there's nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives.
Why isn't delivery next day?
Your light is sent directly from our partner workshops overseas rather than from a UK warehouse. Skipping the middlemen is how we keep prices well below the high street.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, if it hasn't shipped yet. Message us as soon as possible and we'll sort it.
Fitting and electrics
Do I need an electrician?
Ceiling lights and hardwired wall lights should be fitted by a qualified electrician. Plug-in wall lights, table lamps, floor lamps and rechargeable lamps need no electrician at all.
Will a ceiling light fit my ceiling?
Our ceiling lights work with standard UK 230V wiring and fit over a standard UK ceiling rose. Each product page lists the canopy size and total drop.
Can I shorten the cable or chain?
Most pendants have an adjustable drop. The product page tells you the minimum and maximum. Your electrician can shorten fabric cable when fitting.
Do your lamps have UK plugs?
Yes. All plug-in lights come with a UK three-pin fused plug.
Can I use your lights in a bathroom?
Only lights marked IP44 or higher, and only in the zone stated on the product page. Your electrician can advise on bathroom zones.
Can I use them outside?
Only products in our Outdoor range, which are rated IP44 or higher for British weather.
Bulbs
Are bulbs included?
Each product page says clearly whether bulbs are included. Where they aren't, you'll find matching warm white bulbs in our Bulbs range.
Are your lights dimmable?
Most are, when used with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Check the product page for each light.
Which bulb colour should I choose?
For living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms we recommend warm white (2700K). It gives that soft, cosy glow. Cooler 4000K suits kitchen worktops and bathrooms if you prefer a brighter light.
Returns
What if I don't like it?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it for free. Contact us to start a return and we'll email you the returns address and a prepaid label. See our Returns page.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo within 7 days and we'll replace or refund it at no cost. There's no need to send it back.
Payment
How can I pay?
All major debit and credit cards, plus the express payment options shown at checkout. All payments are processed securely and we never see your card details.
